Still Building: A Soft Ask + A Steady Flame
Hi friends,
This is one of those posts I rewrote five times before hitting send.
If you’ve been here for a while, you know this space has been my quiet corner of the internet—a place to share what I’m learning as I rebuild my life through storytelling, rest, work, and intuition. A place to speak plainly about the beauty and the burn of becoming.
Here’s the truth:
Ten months ago, I finally found a rhythm. I had consistent housing support and was slowly but surely creating stability. I took on freelance work when I could. I turned my creative skills into consulting offers. I stayed focused on healing—body, mind, income, and spirit.
Then, a few weeks ago, I received notice that my housing support was ending. Not next month. Not with time to plan.
In five days.
So I’m writing to share a soft ask.
A humble one.
But not a hopeless one.
🛠 I’ve updated my GoFundMe to reflect this moment
I'm raising funds to cover:
A safe place to live while I rebuild income
Phone access (which keeps me connected to job leads and clients)
Basic transportation to get to appointments and meetings
Whether you’re able to give $5, $50, or just forward this to someone who can help—it means more than I can say.
This isn’t the end of the story. It’s just a moment.
And I’m still in it.
Still building.
Still dreaming.
If you’ve found value in my writing, here are ways to help:

Hold me in your thoughts if nothing else is possible right now
