The Essentials, the Vision, and the Ask

Hi friends,

I’m writing this with my feet on the floor, a little tea left in my mug, and a small flame of quiet determination still burning.

Last week, with your support, I was able to raise $808.88 to cover immediate housing. I exhaled in a way I hadn’t in days. Thank you for the donations, the shares, the encouragement, and the way you saw me without needing a performance.

Now, I’m focused on the next piece of the rebuild.

This weekend, I’m raising an additional $750–$1,000 to cover what I call the dignity essentials:

• 🚙 Transportation – to get to appointments, errands, or client meetings

• 🥣 Food – basic nourishment while I continue working

• 🏡 Extended housing – to keep a safe place to land next week

I’m not fundraising just to survive—I’m fundraising to bridge the space between what was and what’s becoming.

Because the vision is growing:
🎙️ I’ve launched Echo and Threads, a story-driven podcast consulting studio for creatives and brands.
🌍 I’m also a Fora-certified Travel Advisor, curating story-rich, slow travel for people who want depth over destinations.
✍🏾 And I’m writing again—open to freelance writing and copy projects, features, blogs, and content strategy.

This is soft power work. It takes time. It takes stability. It takes being seen.
