Tomorrow is July.
My birthday month.
A threshold I’m stepping over slowly—
with more softness than urgency.
Last summer, I started a GoFundMe with shaking hands and a heart that wasn’t sure anyone would show up.
And you did.
You showed up in small and enormous ways:
— Covering rent and medical bills
— Offering words that felt like shelter
— Reminding me that community is not theory but practice
Nearly $8,000 raised.
A testament to generosity I still don’t have language big enough to hold.
And here I am again—
at the cusp of another year around the sun—
asking one more time.
My birthday is July 24th.
I’ll be 46.
I have a wish that feels equal parts tender and audacious:
To close the final gap in this fund by my birthday.
$4,000 to fully fund this chapter—
to keep a roof overhead, cover the care my body requires, and create a little breathing room for what comes next.
If you’ve ever been nourished by my words or my work,
if you’ve ever felt witnessed here—
I’d be honored if you’d consider contributing or sharing.
Quiet doesn’t mean absent.
Rest isn’t retreat.
I’m still here. Just slower now.
Thank you for walking with me this far.
Thank you for seeing me.
If you’d like to help:

If you can’t give, sharing this is its own kind of generosity.
In gratitude and soft hope,
Tiffani
PS:
I’m still learning what it means to create sustainably, to ask without apology, to let myself be resourced.
This is part of that practice.
